you ask for HELP not someone to take over your role of a leader. You literally shoot out a flare to ask for help if you play with randoms. The only thing you can't do is ruin the host's game by wasting resources or killing people. You still have 'control' of whole base, you just don't have a shortcut through the menu, and anything resource wise is taken from your own pool. Tether range is huge, this is not the type of game where you just wander out yourself because you can, it's a post apocalypse survival game, but you still can go far away from your friend, split to loot 2 different places or whatever. Again, you get your own loot, and can trade/share anything you find, unless that's too hard for you, and you want to be able to steal all the stuff from everyone in your/their game, then that's a problem you have, not the game. This is COOP, not competitive, so that CS comparison is just stupid, not sure where are you pullin' these from but I think I don't want to know either. Except this is not Terraria, and you get your own loot and can even share/trade with others. Just because you don't seem to care about your community or characters you use doesn't mean everyone shares the experience, imagine playing with randoms who just come into your game and ruin it for you, kill everyone you have and take every item you have, then leave, so you have to restart, over and over again, does that sound fun to you?Д®xcept this is not 'Escape from Tarkov' and you can keep any loot you find. You're not allowed to control your own units, what? You can only control your units, because why would anyone 'borrow' you a character you don't care about anyway? That's the sole reason you're not allowed to make decision in someone else's game and ruin it for them. Want your friend to setup stations, make choices with npcs or upgrade stuff? Yeah he cant, cause the game doesnt allow it. Want your friend to scout out a new location for a base? Yeah you cant cause the game doesnt allow your friend to walk away from you after X meters The distance tethers are beyond stupid and the overall lack control of the base is just ridiculous My point is, the restriction in coop is a joke,

Imagine sitting through a 4 hour Raid in world of warcraft, but you're not allowed to keep any items from the raid, because your friend would be unhappy if he lost a roll you both wanted Imagine playing a competitive match in counter strike with a friend, but you dont recieve the win when you win Imagine playing Terraria, but you cant place blocks or open chests Imagine joining a friends raid in escape from tarkov but you're not allowed to keep any loot you find Dedicating a save for coop would completely wipe away the XXX hour character fear having equal amount of control would make my friend just as unhappy as i would be if said guy would die in permadeathДЈ. Coop in this game is like playing age of empires with a friend against comp, but you're not allowed to control your own faction, only units given to you by the host of the game.Д®veryone seems to be using the same excuse over and over 'ohh but you wouldnt want your friend to kill a guy you've had for XXX hours in permadeath mode, WOULD YOU NOW?!?!'Дў.
